Another top priority in 2016-17 was implementing a redesign of our land tax assessment notices.
They were given an updated 'look' that focused on simple language and key messages about legislative changes and payment options. We also explored ways to encourage positive customer behaviour when meeting their tax obligations.
In consultation with our land tax experts, the notices were channelled towards distinct customer groups identified as having the greatest potential for engagement and compliance.
Messages were delivered in plain English and ensured a consistency of language was carried over to all other targeted platforms, such as the website, videos and subscriber emails.
Overall, feedback from customers and our other key stakeholders has been very positive in support of the changes.
